Since its inception in 1985, our Medical Laboratory Service has expanded significantly, with 12 fully-automated labs and over 200 sample collection centers across three districts. We take pride in being the first ISO 9001:2015 accredited laboratory in the Kalutara District.

Our medical laboratories are also accredited by SLAB for ISO 15189:2012, which sets requirements for diagnostic labs to demonstrate competence in delivering timely, accurate, and reliable results. At Medihelp, our team of highly trained and qualified laboratory staff, technicians, and consultants are dedicated to providing superior service, ensuring our customers receive accurate and reliable laboratory results.

With a focus on leveraging cutting-edge technology, we have introduced Fully Automated Biochemistry, Immunology, Hematology, HPLC, and Electrolyte Analyzers into our laboratory system to minimize human error and reduce report turnaround time. Our state-of-the-art technology meets global laboratory technology standards and the stringent requirements of modern medical and healthcare services. Additionally, we conduct routine internal quality control tests on our machines and collaborate with Bio-Rad (US), an international group, to conduct external quality control programs, maintaining the highest quality standards in our lab investigations.
